It already h as reflective insulation in the ceiling. And vents at the back. He pointed me in the right direction to find them.

I think the Sunbird’s dash will be okay, after all. I’m going to leave the garage door up an inch or two on especially hot days and I’ll leave the car’s windows down, too. The shop owner personally stores his ‘70-something Plymouth in a garage just like this one and he said it does get hot in there like any other garage, but not unbearably.

I did get the car in there tonight, and I had my teeth gritted the entire time, but everything went fine. The 96 horses struggled to get me up on the ramp, and the building did some minor creaks/groans/other settling noises, but nothing alarming.

Oh, and the ‘Bird had a spa day, too.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

I’m tired  and going to bed now.

you could easily cut some hole sand insert vents into the walls, one at the top of each peak and maybe 1 each side. I would imagine the builder could do it for cheap too

I thought about it today. At one point during the disastrous building install, I said F the building, F the car, F the fence, and I’m giving up and selling it all.

I got over it, but still.

I am a bit troubled at times because of my devotion to this shitty little old car. It makes me feel silly. But, it is what it is.
